The Saint Louis Art Museum invites you to celebrate their 20th year of art, family, and community during Family Sundays. Every Sunday afternoon, families across the city are invited to the Saint Louis Art Museum for free hands-on art activities and a lively 30-minute family tour through the Galleries. For this special celebration, families can snap a pic in the Sculpture Hall photobooth, enjoy a puppet show and storytelling from Jackie and Papa Wright, and watch an amazing step dance performance by Gentlemen of Vision. As always, a special art-making project will take kids on a deeper dive into current exhibitions. In celebration of the new exhibition Kehinde Wiley: Saint Louis, opening Oct. 19, kids are invited to experiment with collage, drawing techniques, and sculpture to investigate one of the most inspiring muses – a fantastic face!
The Saint Louis Art Museum collects, presents, interprets, and conserves works of art of the highest quality across time and cultures; educates, inspires discovery, and elevates the human spirit; and preserves a legacy of artistic achievement for the people of St. Louis and the world.
