This year, for the first time ever, participants get to run through the Zoo during the 33rd annual St. Louis Children's Hospital Make Tracks Through the Zoo. The new course takes runners and walkers past some of the Zoo's most scenic features, including Centene Grizzly Ridge, home to grizzly bears Huckleberry and Finley.
The schedule for the day will be: 7 a.m. 5K Race/Walk: 3.1 mile loop course. Timed and competitive. 8:20 a.m. 1/2-mile Kids' Cub Crawl: ages 7-12, untimed, non-competitive run 8:30 a.m. 1/4-mile Kids' Cub Crawl: ages 6 and under, untimed, non-competitive run 8:40 a.m. 1-mile Race: participants 12-and-under will be eligible for awards, timed and competitive 9 a.m. Awards Ceremony: At the Anheuser-Busch Theater in The Living World at the Zoo. Overall winners and First Place in each bracket will be announced. Second and Third Place winners in each age bracket may receive their prize at the tables in the lower rotunda of The Living World.
