Santa is making his “ho-ho-HOME” at The National Museum of Transportation this holiday season! Bring your family (and your camera!) to see Santa arrive by helicopter at 10 a.m. Nov. 24 (weather permitting).
Visit Santa and his live reindeer Friday, Nov. 23, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 8, from noon-4 p.m. Santa will also greet visitors at the Museum from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1 and Saturday, Dec. 15.
St. Louis' largest model train display, the E. Desmond Lee Holiday Train Exhibit, will also roll back into the Museum for the holiday season. The exhibit, which includes the former Famous Barr/Macy's Downtown window display, will be on display Nov. 23-Jan. 6, 2019. Hours are Wednesdays and Thursdays, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.; Fridays and Saturdays, 9 a.m.-3:45 p.m.; and Sundays, 11 a.m.-3:45 p.m. The Museum is closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
Santa visits and the E. Desmond Lee Holiday Train Exhibit are both included with regular Museum admission, which is $10 for adults ages 13 & older, and $5 for children ages 3-12.
