Youth and Family Volunteer Fair
MARCH 9, 2011 – Along with St. Louis Volunteen, The Magic House is hosting the St. Louis Youth and Family Volunteer Fair on Sunday, April 10 from 1-4 p.m. This community-wide event will feature more than 35 different not-for-profit organizations in need of volunteers.
Young people looking for volunteer opportunities can find out more about these organizations, their mission and the volunteer opportunities they offer at The Magic House. This fair is a wonderful opportunity for students looking to fulfill school community service requirements, youth interested in finding summer volunteer opportunities, girl and boy scouts working on service projects or families who just want to get involved and help make St. Louis a stronger community. A variety of organizations will be represented, offering volunteer experiences that fit many interests and goals.
The St. Louis Youth and Family Volunteer Fair is included in the price of museum admission. The price of admission for the Volunteer Fair only is one can of food per person. Food donations collected will be given to a local area food bank. Attendees should enter through The Magic House Members' Entrance. All ages are welcome.
The Magic House is located at 516 Kirkwood Road, in Kirkwood.
