With the Opera House in the backdrop, the 85- by 55-foot temporary rink will offer open skating, skate rentals, music, and light food and beverages. The rink will host special events, including youth hockey clinics and spacial "Late Skates" following Saturday night Blues hockey games.

The ice skating rink is located in Schiller Park at Market Street between 14th and 15th streets. The Rink at Monsanto Grove is open weekdays 4-9 p.m., school holidays and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sundays noon to 7 p.m. Tickets are $6 ($5.50 for seniors) and skate rentals are $4.
