JAN. 21, 2011 -- Young adult author Lo Bosworth will visit the Daniel Boone Branch of the St. Louis County Library at 7 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 24 to discuss "The Lo-Down," a girl's guide to finding and maintaining healthy relationships. Drawing from personal experiences, "The Lo-Down" counsels girls to not settle for bad relationships.

Lo Bosworth has appeared in the MTV series The Hills and Laguna Beach. She is a television host, business owner and writer. She has witnessed her fair share of really bad dating and has also experienced a lot herself. As a star on two popular reality shows, she is no stranger to relationship drama and what comes with it. Now, she is sharing stories from her own experiences (and her friend's love lives, too) from the relationships documented on both Laguna Beach and The Hills.

Filled with insider dish and drama, "The Lo-Down" is a further glimpse into the lives of the people that have been a mainstay in popular culture for years.

This free event is presented by the St. Louis County Library Foundation and Pudd'nHead Books as part of the Reading Garden Event Series.
