JAN. 26, 2012 -- Know a group that could use a warm-up of free soup? On Wednesdays in February, Saint Louis Bread Co. will give away free soup to nominated groups, businesses, charities and other organizations.

Bread Co. is asking St. Louis to nominate worthy groups for "Warm Up Wednesday" through their Twitter account (message them at @panerabread using hashtag #WarmUpWednesday) or through Facebook. To kick-off the event, Bread Co. will be serving free coffee to customers from 6-9 a.m. on Feb. 1, 2012.

On Wednesday, Feb. 29, bring three nonperishable food items to your local Bread Co. and you'll receive a free bowl of soup. The donated food will be given to Operation Food Search.
