NOV. 16, 2011 -- The St. Louis County Library is closing its Eureka Hills Branch, 103 Hilltop Village Center, Eureka, Mo., 63025, on Thursday, Nov. 24. A new Eureka branch will open in early December at 156 Eureka Towne Center.

The new location, about one mile west of the current location, is 6,500 square feet, nearly twice the size of the existing branch. The new space will be used for a community meeting room, expanded collections of library materials and eight computer stations. Teens and children will have dedicated space within the new branch.

During construction, library patrons can return materials to the new branch location. Items on hold will be available for pick-up when the branch reopens.
