SEPT. 22, 2011 -- There's now more fun for the family at Eckert's Millstadt Fun Farm, open through the end of October. The farm has installed a new attraction calling the Jumping Pillow.

The Jumping Pillow is a giant piece of vinyl, embedded into the ground and inflated daily, said Amanda Morgan with Eckert's. "It looks like a big mound of air," she said.

Kids 42 inches and taller can jump on the 3,500-square-foot pillow, and big kids have a jumping area separate from the younger ones.

The Fun Farm has also expanded its corn maze, Morgan said. The old corn maze was a third of an acre, and it has been expanded to four acres. The farm has installed new tire swings, new tires for climbing and real sinks with running water in the bathroom area.

Admission has gone up and is $10 per person ages 2 and up. Discounts are available throughout the week. Eckert's Millstadt Fun Farm  is located at 2719 Eckert Orchard Lane, Millstadt, Ill., 62260. Call 800-745-0513 for details.
