DEC. 30, 2010 -- CJ Salvador, an award-winning dancer and choreographer, will be at Wildwood Dance and Arts leading tap and hip-hop workshops on Saturday, Jan. 8.

CJ Salvador has been a member of the Tap Kids Touring Production since 2005. He has had the opportunity to dance in Scotland's famous Fringe Festival, perform for royalty in Amsterdam and tap dance in almost every state in the U.S. Some of his tap instructors include Jason Samuels Smith, Diane "Lady Di" Walker, Ayodele Casel, Lisa Hopkins, Mark Yonally and Mike Minery.

Salvador was a Monsters of HipHop finalist in 2009. He was nominated for The Pulse Convention Protege Program and won the Slide Convention Senior Tap Scholarship in 2008. In 2007 he won a full Scholarship for The Pulse Convention and the Jump Convention Teen VIP Scholarship. His tap choreography has been featured at Dance Chicago and has won many awards at competitions.

Workshops are $25 per class or $40 for two classes. Four workshops are available: beginning and intermediate/advanced tap, and beginner and intermediate/advance hip-hop. Call 636-458-6605 for class reservations.
