APRIL 27, 2011 -- "Let's go fly a kite" in the wide open space at Woodland Sports Park in St. Peters during the annual Kite Festival on May 14, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sponsored by the St. Peters Ranger Division, this is a free event for the whole family and a community favorite to get out and enjoy some fresh air.

Take advantage of the spring winds with other kite enthusiasts at Woodlands Sports Park soccer fields, a great place to experience the thrill of flying a kite. The first 100 kids will receive free kite-building kits. Refreshments will be available at a nominal cost.
