"Art of the Heart" Experience Launches at Two St. Louis Malls

April 29, 2011 - St. Luke's Hospital will launch an interactive experience called "Art of the Heart" at two St. Louis area malls. The display is aimed at spreading awareness of the importance of heart health.
St. Luke's Art of the Heart experience allows people of all ages to create free digital masterpieces on a heart-shaped screen. They can also share their "HeARTs" electronically with friends and family to encourage their loved ones to take action for their heart health, too.
The St. Luke's Art of the Heart experience will be available at these locations on the dates indicated:
Chesterfield Mall (Lower level near Macy's and Old Navy), April 29-May 1 and May 6-8
West County Center (Upper level near food court), May 13-15 and May 20-22
"Every heart is special," said Andrea Moyer, St. Luke's Hospital cardiologist. "The Art of the Heart experience is designed to help everyone take a moment out of their lives and realize that their heart health needs are unique and must be a priority in order to combat heart disease, the leading killer of men and women."
St. Luke's Hospital offers a free online heart disease risk assessment at www.stlukes-stl.com.
