Description:

Encounter dozens of realistic, prehistoric creatures taking up residence inside the famed Climatron® dome during "DinoQuest: A Tropical Trek Through Time." Visitors of all ages will be transported back in time to the golden age of dinosaurs, discovering the important connections between living creatures and Earth's ecosystems in the past, present—and future.

WHEN: May 1 through Oct. 3, 2010 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily
WHERE: Missouri Botanical Garden, 4344 Shaw Blvd., south St. Louis
COST: Exhibit admission: $5 adults, $3 children (3-12), in addition to Garden admission.
Garden admission: $8 adults, $4 St. Louis City/County residents, free children.

This was an interesting exhibit. My preschoolers were only semi-interested in the dinosaurs in the Climatron. However, they loved the interactive activities adjacent to the Climatron. They dressed up like paleontologists and little dinosaurs and loved seeing themselves on the big TVs. Of course, the herd of sheep and the raccoon fountain are always hits with my group.
