Explore worlds that are usually too small to see and discover how scientists manipulate tiny particles to develop new tools and materials. Immerse yourself in models of molecules and atoms enlarged 100 million times their actual size. Examine a carbon nanotube and use your hands to grab and pull apart a molecule. Children can plunge into the Giant Blood Drop in search of a few “white blood cells” hidden among thousands of “red blood cells." Explore Nanotechnology wtih hands-on activities throughout the galleries. Go on a Nano scavenger hunt. See "What the Heck is Nanotech?" an amazing science demonstration twice daily at CenterStage.
