Explore, learn and discover the Wonders of Wildlife at two outdoor events in St. Louis this summer and fall.

Outdoor Discovery Day is June 9 at Forest Park. Families can experience awesome outdoor activities like fishing, camp cooking, archery, geocaching, rock climbing, canoeing, kayaking and more. Children will enjoy crafts and other activities.

Then, Sept. 29-30, camp under the stars at Riverlands Migratory Bird Sanctuary. Families will enjoy campfire activities, and they'll learn how to pitch their own tents and practice "leave no trace" camping.

Wonders of Wildlife (WOW) activities are open to anybody who wants to get introduced to the outdoors. Registration for the Outdoor Discovery Day is just $25 per family or $10 per person and includes equipment for all activities and lunch. The Overnight Camping Experience is only $16 per family or $4 for individuals; tents provided along with a hot dog cookout and breakfast snacks.

wowclimbFor more information and a registration packet with full details, please call 800-334-6946 or visit the Wonders of Wildlife website. Registration is required for these events, and the deadline for Outdoor Discovery Day is May 18. Space is limited.

WOW is a national outdoor recreation and conservation school that introduces families and individuals to a variety of outdoor activities.
