Families can explore a 12-acre corn maze at Eckert's Millstadt Fun Farm on Saturdays and Sundays beginning Sept. 9. This year's maze will feature a kindergarten theme in celebration of the 150th anniversary of the first kindergarten, which was founded in the Des Peres School of Carondelet. A portion of the sales from Sept. 16-17 will go to St. Louis Public Schools. Eckert's is also hosting three contests to honor area kindergarten teachers. Brookdale Farms' corn maze is cut into 17 acres of corn field. Brookdale will be open 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays beginning Sept. 8. Admission to the maze is included with fall farm admission. Brookdale Corn Maze also offers a more wicked sister attraction, Field of Nightmares, for older guests on select Fridays and Saturdays in October.
